Watermelon
We sell it mainly to Eastern Europe in large quantities. All our suppliers grow the watermelons close to Kecskemét, mainly the striped, so called Crimson types. At the same time we are in close cooperation with some suppliers from Békés county, as well. Selection of size and preparation for delivery is done in our packaging and cooling factory in Borbás. For the Eastern European market we select the watermelons by size and deliver them in bulk in cardboard boxes. For Western Europe we sell them in 19 – 20 kg cardboard boxes, each of them selected by quality.
